Of her own volition, Grand Rapids-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Olivia Mainville dove headfirst into the world of music as early as the fifth grade, when she had begun playing viola and upright bass in orchestra. Following her first Wheatland Festival in 2012, Mainville fell in love with the idea of performing her own songs on stage, which eventually inspired her 2014 gypsy swing and baroque pop debut EP, Full Steam Ahead featuring members of The Accidentals. Since the release of her first solo output, Olivia has forged a unique path, becoming known alongside her band, the Aquatic Troupe, for their energized, dynamic performances and their gargantuan musical talent. Olivia Mainville & the Aquatic Troupe’s debut album, Maybe the Saddest Thing, released on December 10th, 2015 with a special guest appearance by none other than David Bowie’s bandleader and lead guitarist, Gerry Leonard —their multifarious, enthusiastic delivery is sure to be a hit with listeners everywhere.

The Taylor Made Blues Band brings together four talented and respected blues artists whose love of and talent for the blues is infectious. The band was formed when singer "Michissippi" Mick Kolassa decided to start touring on a regular basis. Joined by David Dunavent on lead guitar and backing vocals, Seth Hill on bass and George Mumford (and sometimes Lucy Kate Piper) on drums, the quartet delivers rock solid blues in a show that keeps audiences coming back. Playing a combination of Mick's original songs, cherished blues classics and some surprising blues "uncovers" of songs not traditionally thought of as blues, the Taylor Made Blues Band keeps audiences enthralled by fitting the set to the fans to assure their enjoyment of the show. They are lively and animated in their performances, demanding the attention of the audience and assuring that the fans enjoy themselves.

Charlie Millard started playing piano at 11, performing at churches, restaurants, farmers’ markets and weddings at 13, writing songs with his dad at 14 and tackling his first studio album not long after that. Now 21, the pianist, guitarist and songwriter from Alanson who performs regularly across northern Michigan, hosts a regular open-mic night in Petoskey and fronts indie-rock’s Charlie Millard Band. Suffice to say, music has been the driving force in Millard's life. "Ray Charles, Greg Brown, Bob Dylan and Van Morrison are staples in the house along with a bit of blues," said Millard, whose skills were honed with help from his guitar-playing father, two piano teachers – one from the classical side and the other steeped in jazz – and a diverse palette of musical influences. "I discovered the songs of Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan through my sisters' ballet teacher, and through Waits and Brennan, everyone else; Mose Allison, James Brown, The Gershwins, Sparklehorse, Vic Chesnutt."
