Of her own volition, Grand Rapids-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Olivia Mainville dove headfirst into the world of music as early as the fifth grade, when she had begun playing viola and upright bass in orchestra. Following her first Wheatland Festival in 2012, Mainville fell in love with the idea of performing her own songs on stage, which eventually inspired her 2014 gypsy swing and baroque pop debut EP, Full Steam Ahead featuring members of The Accidentals. Since the release of her first solo output, Olivia has forged a unique path, becoming known alongside her band, the Aquatic Troupe, for their energized, dynamic performances and their gargantuan musical talent. Olivia Mainville & the Aquatic Troupe’s debut album, Maybe the Saddest Thing, released on December 10th, 2015 with a special guest appearance by none other than David Bowie's bandleader and lead guitarist, Gerry Leonard — their multifarious, enthusiastic delivery is sure to be a hit with listeners everywhere.

Mick Kolassa, is a Sturgis native- class of 1970 grad of Sturgis High School! The Taylor Made Blues Band is one of North Mississippi's favorite bands, bringing together four respected blues artists whose love of and talent for the blues is infectious. When not on the road the band performs regularly on Beale Street in Memphis and at clubs and juke joints in Clarksdale and other Mississippi cities. Their albums have received critical acclaim and significant airplay worldwide.

The band members are "Michissippi" Mick Kolassa on vocal and guitars, David Dunavent on lead guitar and backing vocals, Seth Hill on bass guitar, and George Mumford on drums. The quartet delivers solid blues in a show that keeps audiences coming back.

Playing a combination of original songs, cherished blues classics and some surprising blues "uncovers" of songs not traditionally thought of as blues, the Taylor Made Blues Band keeps audiences enthralled by fitting the set to the fans to assure their enjoyment of the show.

They are lively and animated in their performances, assuring that the fans enjoy themselves as they listen to the band playing their Free-Range Blues©. This band brings their love of the blues and a little bit of Mississippi to the stage.

Dinner before the presentation starting at 5:30pm. Ticket prices: Student: $4; Senior: $6; Adult: $7; Family: $15. This film begins by exploring the achievements of the ancient Maya by visiting fabled places like El Mirador, Tikal and Yaxha. It examines the historic tension between Mayan traditions and Spanish colonialism, using the religious pageantry of Antigua’s Easter Week celebration to provide a cinematic backdrop for the fascinating conversation. It documents contemporary Mayan culture in Lake Atitlan where weavers spin cotton by hand and rely on the natural dyes and back strap looms to create world-class textiles.
