Melanie Daniels (Tippy Hedren) a wealthy San Francisco socialite, pursues a potential romantic interest to a small Northern California town that slowly takes a turn for the bizarre when birds of all kinds suddenly begin to attack people. The Cinema Circle presented by the SYCA seeks to engage audiences with the experience of seeing classic films on the big screen while enjoying an expanded understanding of the film's cultural and historical significance through a featured post-show conversation hosted by the director of the Sturges-Young.
